I like pina coladas. I want to explain a few things about the song “if you like pina coladas”.

Most people think of this song as quintessential 80′s song (it was made in 1979), but this song is actually an anti-80s song— its against all the fruity crap of the 80′s (yoga, healthfood, etc) but all FOR the fruity stuff in the pina colada drink (pineapples, coconuts).

Also, thrown in there is some weird situation where a couple is trying to cheat on one another and then they find out they were trying to cheat with each other and its funny, except in real life it wouldn’t be funny but very embarrassing and tense.

My experience watching Cheaters and similar shows tells me that both members of the couple would just blame each other and would both be righteously indignant, even though they both were trying to cheat.

“You’re the one that posted the ad!”

“You were responding to ads in the paper you whore!”

This is how life works.

Now have a pina colada.
