An unlucky driver ran over a mattress but decided to keep driving. In his pursuit to continue, the mattress ultimately whipped around enough to put a tear in the gas tank. The subsequent lack of fuel is what brought the vehicle to a standstill.

The driver managed to drive 30 more miles before he pulled over to the side of the road– even with 60 lbs of tangled coil springs wrapped around the vehicle’s drive shaft.  The driver’s only complaint was that his vehicle  “shimmied” at high speeds.
